INDIANAPOLIS- A crop of five freshmen signed their National Letters of Intent to play basketball at UIndy in 2010-11. Men’s basketball head coach Stan Gouard announced that Leland Brown (Noblesville, Ind.), Joe Daniels (Champaign, Ill.), Brennan McElroy (Decatur, Ill.), Cody Sarrazin (Fort Wayne, Ind.) and Cody Vest (Spencer, Ind.) will all join the Greyhounds this fall.

UIndy Boys Basketball Camp still has slots available for both sessions. The individual camp is open to all boys entering grades 2-9 in the fall of 2010. Camp will begin daily at 9:00am and will end at 4:00pm. On Thursday camp will end at NOON. Lunch will be provided daily and each camper will receive a camp tee shirt. The cost for camp is $165.00, we also offer a faculty staff discount of $135.00.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- Lewis erased an 18-point deficit, rallying in the final minutes for a 79-76 win over the UIndy men's basketball team in the first round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament at Drury University Saturday afternoon. The Greyhounds led by as many as many as nine in the final 4:09, but Lewis scratched its way back to grab the win and will advance to play host Drury Sunday afternoon in the league quarterfinals.
