INDIANAPOLIS- The UIndy men's soccer team was the workforce behind the third-annual Shoot fore Sammi golf outing held Thursday, Aug. 26 at the River Glen Country Club. The annual benefit raises money to find a cure for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), a cause of more than 2,500 infant deaths per year in the U.S. alone.

INDIANAPOLIS- The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) has announced the 2009-10 recipients of the Team Academic Award, with seven UIndy teams making the list. The Greyhound women’s cross country team, women’s golf, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s tennis, women’s tennis and volleyball all maintained at least a 3.30 grade point average for the previous academic year.
