NEW ORLEANS, La.- Head track and field coach Scott Fangman and assistant coach Giles Davis were each recognized by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Monday for their work during a successful 2009-10 campaign. Fangman was named the Midwest Region's Men's Coach of the Year while Davis was honored as the region's Women's Assistant Coach of the Year.

ROLLA, Mo - The UIndy men's and women's track and field teams both captured Great Lakes Valley Conference titles at the 2010 GLVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Allgood Bailey Stadium in Rolla, Mo. The Greyhound men, who captured the 2010 GLVC indoor track and field title earlier this year, took top honors with 230.50 team points, bettering second-place Missouri S&T who finished with 196.50. The UIndy women accumulated 218 points during the two-day event, topping runner-up Lewis' 192.50.
