UIndy Athletics Hall of Fame
Honoring The Greatest Greyhounds
The University of Indianapolis Athletics Hall of Fame, established in 1980 by the Department of Athletics in conjunction with the Greyhound Club, recognizes those individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the prestige of the University of Indianapolis both on and off the field of competition.
They have brought much honor to the University of Indianapolis Athletic Department and have established a tradition of excellence that is incomparable. Their achievements have touched everyone associated with the University of Indianapolis. From the inception of intercollegiate athletics at UIndy to the present, none have better exemplified the true spirit of athletic competition at UIndy than these honored players, coaches, and administrators.
The 2009 Class includes four individuals and one team set for induction. Mark Bless (football, track), Walter Brenneman (basketball, track), Dennis McNulty (cross country, track), Andy Richardson (track, football) and the 1972-73 baseball team will all be introduced at halftime of the men's basketball game on Feb. 28 and enshrined following the game at the annual awards banquet.
